Dad texted to let me know he fixed the leaky shower today. I sure would have enjoyed a heads up that would happen TODAY since I left dirty clothes in the bathroom this morning. Eye roll so hard. I guess I'll take some advice from the boy scouts and will remember to always be prepared from now on.
Also, that does confirm that Dad took his vacation to have a staycation with the boys. What a stand up guy! I'm beginning to wonder about this relationship between the two of them. I can hardly imagine what my brother in law would do if my sister decided she was taking a WEEK long vacation and he had to take a week vacation from work to stay home with the kids. Ain't no way that would fly. I'm anxious to know if Mom will be back on Sunday evening when I get home.
