Mom and the boys made it home safely today. Per usual, I still have no idea where they were. I'm most sure that I will be wishing them away again in no time, though.

Dad fixed the gate over the weekend! The latch was only on the outside of the gate before, so he cut a hole in the fence where you had to stick your hand through to get out of the gate. Most days, the latch wouldn't catch either, so when going back inside the gate you had to reach back through the hole to make sure the gate locked and the pups couldn't get out. I might would have left it open for the one that chewed up my mat though. Payback is a b. Anyway. Dad put a new latch on the gate and now it opens from BOTH SIDES! He also replaced the panel on the fence where the hole was previously. And I think he was really excited about it because he texted me on Friday night as soon as I got home to tell me about the gate. Not like I just walked through it or anything. I think he was missing Mom and the boys too much. OR he needed some validation in his life. Men are needy you know.
