Well.
It seems as though the boys and Mom have ventured off for a little vacation and left Dad behind. It must have been last Wednesday or Thursday when they left and I haven't seen them since.
Dad seems to be a little lonely. Some nights I come home and see him sitting alone at the table. Bless his heart. And naturally, it's very quiet around here without the others. Praise!
Dad also seems to be doing lots of yard work while the family is away. I should ask him to put a fire pit in the backyard. That could be in exchange for "ditching the Dish." Fair, right?!
I'm sure Mom and the boys will return soon so I should just enjoy the silence. But, I can't help but wonder where they are! I'm imagining visits with grandparents at a beach house. Maybe a farm out in the country somewhere? Or perhaps a mountain view cabin?
Sigh. Curiosity killed the cat, I guess.
